Convictions that will bar a Caregiver from CareSearch Membership

  • Criminal Homicide
  • Kidnapping/Unlawful Restraint
  • Sexual Offenses (Penal Codes 21.02, 21.11)
  • Indecent Exposure
  • Improper Photography
  • Sexual Assault
  • Aggravated Assault (Penal Codes 22.02, 22.021)
  • Injury to a Child, Elderly Individual, or Disabled Individual
  • Abandoning or Endangering a Child
  • Deadly Conduct
  • Terroristic Threat
  • Aiding Suicide
  • Offenses Against the Family
  • Sale or Purchase of a Child
  • Arson, Criminal Mischief, and Other Property Damage or Destruction
  • Aggravated Robbery
  • Automobile Theft
  • Exploitation of a Child, Elderly Individual, or Disabled Individual
  • Online Solicitation of a Minor
  • Money Laundering
  • Medicaid Fraud
  • Bribery and Corrupt Influence/Obstruction or Retaliation
  • Disorderly Conduct/Cruelty to Livestock Animals
  • Disorderly Conduct/Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals
  • A conviction under the laws of anther state, federal law, or the uniform Code of the Military Justice for an offense containing elements that are substantially similar to the elements of an offense listed
  • Assault (punishable as a Class A misdemeanor or as a felony)
  • Burglary
  • Theft that is punishable as a felony or multiple thefts three or less offenses that is punishable as a misdemeanor within the last ten years. Four or more thefts punishable as a misdemeanor will permanently ban membership into CareSearch
  • Misapplication of Fiduciary Property or Property of a Financial Institution this is punishable as a Class A misdemeanor or a felony
  • Securing Execution of a Document by Deception punishable as a Class A misdemeanor or a felony
  • False Identification as a Peace Officer
  • Any offense under Penal Code 481 Drug Code Groups 1-4 with Intent to Sell
  • DWI Felony- 2nd offense 2 years, 3rd offense 10 years, 4th offensewill permanently ban membership into CareSearch
