FREE Financial Education
Would you like to:
Learn how you can grow your Savings Account year after year and have true financial stability.
We are partnering with Jewish Family Service, LEO (at Notre Dame) and United Way services to provide caregivers in CareSearch & BubbieCare with financial tools to make a true difference in their lives.
We would like to know if you would be interested in participating in this study and possibly receiving Free Financial Education Classes and Personal Coaching this Fall / Winter.
As part of our services for caregivers, CareSearch & BubbieCare, in tandem with Jewish Family Services (JFS), will begin providing new financial education services. The program is aimed at increasing financial literacy, financial planning, and overall financial well-being. There will be two services provided as part of the program- individual financial coaching as well as financial literacy classes, which will both be provided completely free of cost. These classes can cost hundreds of dollars per one-hour session, but you will receive this high-quality coaching at no cost to you. There are no restrictions on who can participate, however, there are a limited number of seats in the program.
In partnership with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunity at Notre Dame (LEO), we will be using a random lottery to decide who will participate in the new services as part of a study to measure the effects of the program. As a part of this study, we are going to be tracking outcomes such as credit score, usage of governmental assistance, financial literacy, amount of debt, and amount of savings. All data sharing with LEO is completely secure and safe. In order to be part of the randomization for an opportunity to participate in the new programs, you will need to give consent to participation in the study.
